Hello, I wanted to give all of you an update on how Amber is doing. So far, what I can say about Amber is she takes to discipline very well, she even sat next to a bowl of my kids' snacks and did not steal them, I was very impressed!!! She has her own dog door to come in and out when she pleases, she is still working on getting the hang of it but is making more progress every day. She follows me everywhere and likes to crawl into my husband and I's bed in the morning and lays very sweetly at the end of the bed, she also sits on our 3 year old daughters bed while we read stories for bedtime, she is just a sweetie!!!! Bottom line, I feel like we have hit the jackpot, why she wasn't adopted sooner I don't know, she is potty trained, passed the "puppy stage", knows commands, does well around the kids, very affectionate, we are lucky to have her. We will be sure to keep all of you at the Butte Humane Society updated on our wonderful new family member "Amber".
