Class Description

Basic Obedience 1: This is a beginning level course for dogs with little to no previous training or recently adopted dogs.  The focus will be on the foundation commands of training: sit, stay, down, come, walking on a loose leash, and name recognition.  The class will also cover how to resolve bad manners like jumping & mouthing.

This is a six week course.  The first class will be a mandatory, people-only orientation; please do not bring your dog to class.   To download the Group Class Dog Training Service Agreement form click here.

Dates, Days, Time, Location

• Saturdays, October 9th - November 13th, 3:30 - 4:30pm
• Fridays, October 29th - December 12th, 11 - 12pm (Skipping Nov 26th)

Classes will be held in the Butte Humane Society play yard at 2579 Fair St. in Chico.

Fees

• BHS adopters: $70 for six-week series
• General public: $90 for six-week series
