He is a wonderful dog! Everything that you said about him in his bio is absolutely true. Although his past life must have been a rough one, he hasn't let that stop him from loving every human and every dog that he meets. It took him a while to realize that we were never going to treat him like he used to be treated, but once he knew that, he let his guard down. He has learned all of his basic obedience and then some. He wants to please and tries hard to be the best dog he can be. He is truly a breed ambassador!
His worst flaw (if you can say it is) is that he wants to be a lapdog and doesn't want to stop having attention! He travels well and is a kind, gentle, respectful boy to my 18 month old. I'm not sure who loves who more!
Again, thanks for taking the time and money to rescue Ike and give him the needed heartworm treatment (by the way, he is free and clear). We are forever grateful for the dog of our dreams!
I've attached a few pictures for you to see what I mean.

P.S. We'll definitely be back to get a companion for Ike when we buy a house!
