BHS would like to personally thank everyone who has made an animal care contribution this year! 

Urgent: During cold weather, we especially need lots of soft bedding! Squares of fleece or other soft, thick fabrics are a cheap, effective way to provide ALL animals with a warm blanket to sleep on.

Animal Care Supplies
At this time we cannot take dog or cat beds, dog or cat plastic food bowls, dog or cat dry food, and dog or cat treats.  Instead, please read through the following list of items and considering making another benefitial donation!

• Canned (wet) cat & dog food - we prefer no corn, wheat or "byproducts" in ingredients, please!
• Nutri-Cal dietary supplement
• KMR (Kitten Milk Replacer) - dry formula
• Bottles for nursing baby animals
• Rabbit food
• Clean blankets & towels
• Clean, strong leashes
• Heavy-duty dog chew toys, especially large KONGs
• Cat toys - hard plastic is best, for disinfecting
• Cat litter boxes
• Chlorphenaramine tablets - over-the-counter decongestant for humans, can be used to treat sick cats
• Clavamox antibiotic medication (at vet. offices or pet supply stores)
• Terramycin eye medication (also at vet. offices or pet supply stores)

Everyday Shelter Upkeep:

• Bleach
• Simple Green and any other non-toxic cleaning products
• Paper towels
• Laundry detergent
• Dishwashing soap
• Lysol disinfectant
• Clorox or similar disinfecting wipes
• Antibacterial hand soap refills
• Hand sanitizer refills for wall dispensers
