Butte Humane Society's annual pre-Mother's Day festivities took place in Lower Bidwell Park, at the Cedar Grove Picnic area from 9-1pm.  Along with 10 shelter dogs and volunteers, more than 87 people and their dogs took part in this year's Stroll, with everyone registering to receive a BHS bandana and a free continental breakfast.  Congratulations to Aces Cakes, Team 1 and 2, who brought in the two top pledges.  Your excitement and team shirts where contagious making this an exciting event for all who attended!  

This year's vendors included: Trail Blazer Pet Supply, Jill's Elegant Dog Boutique, Chico Pet Works, Invisible Fence, and Jamba Juice.  Special thanks to Candy Murphy (for organizing the entire event), Brooklyn Bridge Bagel Works,  Butte County Kennel Club, Cal Java and North Valley Aviation Association.  And finally, thanks to all the participants and volunteers who made this event a tail-wagging success!  See you next year!
