Snowdrop
Last Sunday we adopted Snowdrop (the bone mouth Sharpei). She was very shy when at the shelter. We just wanted to give everyone an update. We have changed her name to 'Elsie'. During this past week she has blossomed into a completely different dog. She is not shy any more. She has started to trust us and has really settled into the routine in our home. She lets us pet her, hold her, put a leash on her and even rub her ears. She is very vocal when she wants something, especially when she want to eat (and she loves meal time). We have even been able to remove her leash and let her run in our back yard. She is beginning to know her name and is starting to come when we call her. She and our old Lab get along great and she has really helped him to overcome his depression (following the death of our other old dog last month). The cats are still getting used to her, but we are sure that will come in time. Please let everyone know how thankful we are to all of your help. Elsie (Snowdrop) is a great addition to our family!!!!!
Thank you from Ted and Julie Lehmann (and Elsie)
