Sparkle Lily

It has been one year ago this month that Sparkle Lily came to live with my husband and I. There have been a few challenges that come with a young dog but the rewards have been great.

She is still learning and so are we. She is pretty much a house dog although she has a large back yard to play in. She loves to snuggle on the couch. She gets daily walks to the park and usually a game of catch in the afternoon. Today we went to Upper Park and we met a young woman with her dog and she recognized Sparkle Lily. Her dog was at BHS the same time Sparkle was and she had thought about getting her. The dog she adopted had a pretty rough go of it early on but you would never know it now. She was so happy and playful and her and Sparkle got along great.

Over the last year, we have met many folks who recognize Sparkle Lily, many who thought about adopting her, we are just so thankful we were the lucky ones. So instead of one success story that I had been meaning to send to you, I was able to send two.
